16 March 2014

Beautiful sunny day, Spring is around the corner!

Baby Joseph - born 18 February 2014
Lovely new baby to enjoy.  A dear little boy, brings our total to six grandchildren and amazingly three of each.  Who could ask for more?

A recent card

and now two more
A card for a new baby girl

and one for a boy's card, I did cheat and found the typewriter picture on the internet and the keyboard was a cushion (on the internet too) that I added.  I jazzed it up with cogs and wheels!

January news

Tuesday 28 January 2014

Today is a cold but bright day.  Surprisingly no snow here in England yet.  I expect its building itself up for a big strike.  Sun is shining brightly and I had a lay in this morning with breakfast in bed!  How nice.  The paper to read and a warm bed to snuggle into.  Things cannot get much better.

Some cards I have made over the past few weeks:

snowflake card! sideways!!!!

christmas is coming and it's only January!

upside down! What's going on here and I have no idea how to move it!

christmas trees - origami style  sideways on!

February 2013 - How time flies!!!

Some cards from last year
Well it's been a while since I last added something.

We've had Christmas, New Year, snow and now let's hope spring is just around the corner.  We managed to get an allotment at the beginning of the year, so hope to get down and dirty and grow some good food, getting ourselves fit with some digging.  Sounds more fun than going to the gym and some nice veg at the end of it.

Potatoes, onions, carrots, peas, beans,  plus raspberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries just for a start!  Let alone lettuces, cabbages, kale and so on!

Lots to do and lots to dig
but since taking the picture, have dug lots (weather permitting!) and the fruit bushes are in!
